If you list a property on Shortlet, you agree to:

  • Ensure your listing complies with local rental laws and regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Handle guest interactions professionally and respectfully.

4. Guest Responsibilities

When booking accommodations, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful booking information.
  • Respect the host’s property and follow house rules.
  • Leave the property in the same condition as when you arrived.
  • Take responsibility for any damages caused during your stay.

5. Payments and Fees

  • Guests must pay the full booking amount before the reservation is confirmed.
  • Hosts may be subject to service fees deducted from payouts.
  • Cancellation and refund policies vary based on the listing and must be reviewed before booking.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation policies depend on the host’s terms.
  • Guests may be eligible for a refund based on the host’s selected policy.
  •  Shortlet.NG reserves the right to mediate disputes regarding cancellations and refunds.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

  • Post false or misleading information.
  • Engage in fraudulent transactions.
  • Discriminate against others based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or other protected categories.
  • Use  Shortlet.NG for illegal or unauthorized purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

Shortlet.NG acts solely as a marketplace and is not responsible for:

  • The quality, safety, or legality of listed accommodations.
  • Any disputes between hosts and guests.
  • Injuries, damages, or losses incurred during a stay.

 Shortlet.NG reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in suspicious activities.
